Hi all!

Thinking about getting back into real estate investing. Did about 10 or so deals a few years back, got cocky and tried some new home development. Got out just weeks before the market collapsed in 2008. Fortunate not to lose my shirt, but certainly didn't like the ROI. Decided to take a break.

Got into another business and have been doing that since, stuff that requires a lot of phone work.  Recently had some health issues that severly limit my ability to speak.   That will also effect any real estate business, but I believe those limitations can be mitigated. If I had to get slammed with these body blows, the age of email, texting, and Biggerpockets is the time to take the hits.

Previous experience includes some flips, foreclosures, as well as rentals and small apartment buildings.

One of my first deals may be finding a new place for my family to live.   And by family I mean extended family, something like a family compound. An existing house with at least 3 bedrooms and enough land to hold 4 homes.   Someplace near water, within an hours drive from larger city,  and with mild winters. Texas,  Arizona come to mind.  So if you have anything that fits that bill, fire away!

Glad I found this site, looks very lively with great participation.  Looking forward to getting back into the game.
