Do you find that being a Real Estate Agent gives you an added advantage as an investor?

The education required for a Real Estate license is very helpful to being an investor. You also have access to the local MLS information (it's invaluable). You can get paid a commission for doing your own deals (purchasing/selling properties, leasing to Tenants for your own properties, etc.). You can also do deals for clients and earn a commission. I have my real estate license (in New Jersey) and as Blake Reynolds mentioned above, it's another tool in your arsenal.
