Hello Everyone,

I have been reading on-and-off posts and listening to Brandon's webinar recently to get me motivated and actually get into real estate/rental properties (Great work Brandon!). I am in Carrollton and looking for rental SFH in or around Carrollton area.

Few friends I spoke to say that right now is not a good time to get into real estate but educate yourself and then be ready when market get better for investing (stating prices have gone up and hardly any deals out there). I would be interested to hear what some if the members from DF/W area think. I look forward to hearing from and finding my first deal to get started.

Thank you,

Imran

@Imran Ukani - welcome!  I am in Carrollton too, but have never managed to land a house here.  The prices are just too darn high and lots of people are willing to pay much more than me to get into the market here.

As @Lauren Lockett said - there are deals to be found, but you have to be patient and build a good network. We just closed on a soon-to-be SFR in Arlington last week. It helps too if you are willing to go a little farther afield in the DFW Metroplex.
