Hello all,

I am finishing my Junior year at Michigan State University studying Hospitality Business. After loving my Real Estate Investment elective this year, I've decided to apply for the Real Estate Specialization for next year. Real Estate appeals to me because of it's entrepreneurial mindset. I'm dedicating all of my free time this summer to learning all that I can about the industry including creative financing. I know that my strong ambition will allow me to be successful in the industry. I'm not going to lie, it is a little intimidating, but I know if I set realistic goals, and stick to a plan I can be investing in no time. I hope to be working in the industry this fall. I'm looking forward to being active on the site and can't wait to learn from successful people in the industry.  Any recommendations on what to focus on this summer, or what job to get in the fall would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reading,

Mitch DeFrain

Hi @Mitch DeFrain welcome to BP! I'm in Howell and find myself in your neck of the woods all the time. Best advice is don't be shy and get involved in the forums. If you find yourself out this way I'd be more than happy to share how we've structured our business and the kind of deals I pursue.

Best of luck to you. Sparty On!
