Aloha community I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Dishon I am a RN on the island of Oahu. I have no idea about REI so I'm currently taking courses through Rich dad company and boy there is a lot to learn. I'm interested in any advice anybody has about investing in Hawaii. I'm looking to wholesale, lease option, and get into foreclosures. Would love to find a partner to work with. Thank you for reading.

Aloha, @Dishon Gonzalez. Oahu is a great market. I see you're in Ewa Beach -- I just flipped a short sale in Ewa Gentry and recently purchased a fixer upper in Ewa Beach down near the bottom of Fort Weaver.

There's nothing too different about Hawaii than other places -- it's just a higher price point than most markets. There are a few intricacies, but the overall concepts of wholesaling and investing are the same. If anything, wholesaling in an expensive market like Hawaii is great because you're still not using any of your own funds but are still getting bigger paychecks on average.
