Long term plans in Jacksonville, Fl.

It occurred to me a few years ago that my job in law enforcement was giving me skills that might transfer to rental investing. I read Landlording on Autopilot by Mike Butler (a police officer turned successful investor) and confirmed my suspicion. I've enjoyed the podcasts on this site, and plan to incorporate real estate into my long term plan.

I've considered law enforcement in the past, but never went forth with it. I feel it would be an interesting profession, such as REI can be. Best of luck to you!
