Hello everyone,

My name is William Hepner, I’m a 21 year-old out of Pasadena, CA. I just finished school and have a burning desire to be a successful real estate entrepreneur. I’m getting into wholesaling to start off, which is exciting because Bigger Pockets is a fantastic resource for this (and many other topics). I have quite a bit to learn, but this site seems promising.

To make a long story short, as a student I was a fairly lost in the educational system. I wasn’t fitting the structure, and was unaware of my own interests. I was slightly unconscious, if you will. I ended up at a liberal arts college and during that time, through collective occurrences that are too complicated to explain right now, I stumbled upon business and entrepreneurship and the opportinities inherent in all that. It was transformative, and a new world opened up for me.

Fast forward a bit and I started to get into real estate. The complexity and dynamism of the industry was really enticing to me, and I knew there was possibility galore. I originally formulated goals and standards for myself based on becoming a licensed agent, and it wasn’t until recently that I started delving into the full range of knowledge available. As a result I’ll have my license within a month, and am formulating a plan based on being an agent-investor.

Once again I’m in Pasadena, so if anyone is an investor-friendly broker in the area I’d love to speak with you. Connecting with any investors in the area would be great, especially those with expierience in wholesaling.

I know that making my goals a reality is possible through diligent learning, planning, and of course action. Hopefully I can offer something to this community over time, but until then I’ll explore, contribute, and learn. Thanks for reading and best of luck on your real estate journey!
