New and Eager from San Jose CA

Hey all,

As the subject says, brand new to the industry from San Jose California. I have recently become very aware of the dynamics of REI, and can't wait to get started.

I have been in the food industry my entire professional life. I have recently gotten to the highest level of dining. The food is amazing. The restaurant is immaculate. The service is balletic. The money is great. It is quite a pretty penny just to sit down. I have noticed over time that a good percentage of our guests( and repeat guests) were in the real estate industry. The same with our investors.

A couple months back, I started to further my financial knowledge through reading( on and off-line) and networking. All of this has led me to the world of REI.

That's my story folks. Great to be here with you all.

Shea,

Welcome to Biggerpockets. I don't have the dinero to experience the highest level of dining, but I have been eating out way way too much. On an average, wife and I drop about $3k/month on dining. What can I say? We just love to eat.

If you want more dining, come to @Johnson H.'s monthly meet-up on 7/17 at 6:30pm. It's free to attend. The food there is mehhhh, nothing special. The service is great though. Although the meet-up doesn't start till 6:30pm. Quite a few of investors from all over the Bay Area typically arrive at 4ish to beat the traffic. Hope to meet you one of these days.

Welcome aboard.
