I'm ready to build more than just assets but a lifestyle of financial savvy and gain.I'm and through, sick and tired of my life being diverted by finances. I want to teach my siblings (oldest of 9) and mother of a beautiful 2 year old to be more than just academia. While academia continues to teach me skills that can be transfered elsewhere. Life goes on especially once being a single parent is brought into the mix.

Current plan for this year is to save $9000, build my credit into the 700s, learn about resources in my area (from marin county but residing in fresno ca--- completely different areas) and read read read. I want to use one year to condition myself to be ready to dive in!

While i hope to use my goals of real estate to build assests, i want to show like paths a d backgrounds that financial stability and security is attainable through everyday resources. Education about which resources, how to attain them and how to get involved with them are crucial and this is why I am so excited about this forum.

All in all I want to be able to finish my degree while also building security and a future for both myself, my community and most importantly my family.

***Want to move over from paycheck to paycheck. Not knowing how I'll pay this month's rent.....to....thinking about the next big investment venture without having to condition my life, time and economy to worry about the possibility if having risked my livlihood****

Not only do I want to build fluid income, but I would like to PASS ALONG financial independence, integrity and action withim my generation and those coming after me.

Single mom, Fresno. CA 22 years old. Can you relate? Tips to get to my goals faster? General advice?

Another option is to look into jobs as an on site property manager. Free housing plus pay and you get to learn a lot about property management.
