I am just getting into Real Estate investing and am looking to learn as much as possible. I have a financial background in mergers and acquisitions and now want to get involved in an industry where I can have an impact on many lives rather than just making money for a select few. Also, I want to get involved in real estate from a family perspective as my wife wants to help me and I want to have something more to pass on to my children.

Welcome, @Robert Moffett, to the BiggerPockets community! I would suggest teaming up with an experienced investor to mentor you through your first investment. Also, make sure to check out your local REIA; Jacksonville has a great one! Good luck!
