Newbie from Louisiana
Hi! I've been lurking awhile, soaking in all the great info on this site!! So I decided I might as well jump right in and introduce myself. My name is Shannon, and I'm a wife and mother of 2 teens, xray tech by profession. My dad and brothers were contractors growing up, and we've built a few houses for ourselves over the years, so somewhat familiar with construction, but we've never rehabbed a house to sell. At the start of this past summer, I decided I needed to get my teens out of the house and busy doing something, so thought if we found a house to flip, that might do the trick. That's how I found bigger pockets. We were fortunate to quickly find a house to flip and have been busy all summer with it. It's been a great experience, and now I can't help but want to make a business out of it....and quit my job...eventually. In the meantime, I contstantly search the internet for the next great deal, and continue to learn from you amazing people!! :)
