Welcome to BP! It is a great place to learn. I live in Colorado Springs but invest down the road in Pueblo.

There are some active meet-ups and REIA's in the Springs where you can network and learn more.

Unless you are sitting on a pile of cash or some passive income, you might consider picking up a job while you edge your way into Real Estate. When you go to the banks for lending, it might be difficult without a job and without experience.
