Newbie from South Florida

Hello everyone, and hope all is well.

Just wanted to introduce myself. I am a property manager for my family real estate business, but will be looking to purchase my own "buy and hold" investment properties (outside of my family) within the next year or so. Will be looking for properties outside of South Florida (pretty much anywhere in the country where I can maximize cash flow). Along with buying these investment properties, I want to couple them with a good property management company. Until then, I will be reading and researching this site relentlessly to acquire the best strategies to be successful in these endeavors. Any advice would be great appreciated.

@Al Wright

Welcome.

Locate and attend 3 different local REIA club meetings great place to meet people gather resources and info. Here you will meet wholesalers who provide deals and rehabbers (cash buyers). You can Google to locate them and go to meetup.com

Two Great reads, I bought both J. Scott The Book on Flipping Houses, The Book on Estimating ReHab Costs http://www.biggerpockets.com/flippingbook
