Hello, My name is Andrew Johnson. I am 25, unmarried, am in the Air Force, and have been in Abilene Texas since May2014. Well I have been reading the forums and listening to the podcasts regularly since March of this year. So I guess about six months now, without an intro. I enjoy reading and listening to all of you, but haven't gotten involved. I recently finished all 100 #askbp on YouTube, and am actually listening to lesson 15 of the Udemy course series as we speak. My real estate background, if you can call it that, is I bought my first house when I was 24, last year. It was a life goal since I was a teenager, to buy my first house before turning 25 and I did it! Now that I've read about 21 year old flippers it seems less impressive lol. It's a SFH 3/2 as duplex and fourplexes are almost nonexistent here. It's all SFHs and commercial apartment communities. I look forward to talking to you all more, and finishing these Udemy lessons. As a member of the armed forces, have you looked into using VA loans to invest in real estate? I think you would definitely enjoy the BP Podcast Show 103 which hits on this topic primarily.
