Hello, I have a couple of houses in Austin Texas but recently moved out to Southern California. I got a bit of sticker shock out here with the prices but am open to new opportunities here since the rental market is so good. Also looking to keep investing in Austin if I find something good.
Welcome to Bigger Pockets. It is a good community to network and learn about all aspects of real-estate investing.
@Chris MacDonald Enjoy the weather! I'm an active investor in ATX; originally from the Bay Area so I know what you must mean by sticker shock. I was sticker shocked in the opposite way when I came to Austin. :)
I'm a landlord here so let me know if there's anyway I can add value as boots on the ground while you're outta state.
Let me know how you are doing in the Austin and LH markets. I am also some who lives in Laguna Hills but invests in Austin.
Hey there! I have investment prop in Austin and several others in nearby areas. Its a great market thats appreciating strongly. With that being said you have to be extra careful to find the right deals because the market is so hot you typically have to pay more for your Single Family Rentals than you'd normally like! Good luck!
