back for the first time in Illinois

I was a real estate agent for 8 years in the Chicago area, however only purchased a condo for myself in that time span (from 2001-2009). I took what I now consider the "punk way out" and got a corporate job that I am still working. Now I am refocusing my attention back to financial freedom and aggressively looking to master real estate investing versus just being an agent. I know there is a wealth of knowledge on the subject and this seems like a great place to start!
