Hello from Boise, ID
Well I've been lurking around these message boards long enough, time to come out and introduce myself. I'm Mark, I live in Boise, ID and I'm new to investing. My wife and I are looking for our first house together (in the Boise area) and we'd like to use some principals of REI to make sure our home is a good investment. Once we're settled there we'd like to expand more into rental properties or flipping.
You've all been a great helps already, so thanks! I'm looking forward to diving in fully!

@Mark Jones you mention about looking for an investment preferably in the NW Boise , bench, southeast, south Boise area. but my advise to you is don't just look at those area. I think there are other areas of Boise metro where you are LIKELY to get a great profit margin that those areas.
Remember rule number is to know your market and with Boise metro being a relatively small town, i think you need to understand the entire Boise Metro (Ada and Canyon)
