Hello, I am just getting started in real estate investment properties.  I plan to pursue this avenue throughout the remainder of my life ~ next 40 yrs.  I grew up remodeling houses with my father and grandfather, so I am well suited for assessing repair costs and the time commitment it takes in polishing houses.  I am more interested in buying and maintaining rental properties, I've had some experience in this already and am comfortable with this strategy.  Although, if I found the right house or person to invest in or with I wouldn't mind trying to flip a house or two, but if I did that it would probably be after I finish my Ph.D. program.
