New guy from Queens , New York

Hello Everyone! 

My name is Chris Battilana and I am a 29 year old Commercial Heating Technician with aspirations of owning a large real estate portfolio by the age of 45. I plan on obtaining this through investing time and money in different real estate ventures ie fix/flip, rental properties, building equity in properties and investing in more etc. 

Now I must admit,  my knowledge in real estate is very basic. My family has owned a few homes and commercial properties so I grew up knowing I want to invest in real estate and do understand it may not be necessarily easy at times, but I am willing to put in the work and effort

My hopes of joining this amazing forum is to make new opportunities possible and network with different individuals with the drive to meet their goals, such as myself. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I plan on purchasing my first reo property/ies in 2016.
