Newbie from Spokane, Washington

Hello Bigger Pockets,

I am Tom Skagen, a beginner in the real estate investing arena. I have always thought real estate would be a great investment and wish I'd started pursueing it earlier in life. But, now is the time for me. I went to a house flipping seminar and got some good information and am trying to put it to use. 

My original plan was to aquire a few multi-family units, so they could pay for themselves. While keeping an eye out for a fix and flip to finance other buy and holds. It is inspiring to listen to Bigger Pockets and it helps keep me motivated and inspired. I am currently looking for my first deal, and am looking forward to connecting with some of you to help point me in the right direction.
