Undergraduate student interested in REI

I am a college student in Sacramento, CA, 21 years old, and have recently discovered REI. I grew up in a small town of nearly a thousand people and upon moving to Sacramento, I became aware of the endless opportunity a growing city has to offer. Any and all advice this community has to offer for a newcomer would be of great value.
