My name is Melanie Daniels, I am from the Salt Lake City area in Utah. I am just getting my feet wet in the real estate industry. I bought my first home with my husband in 2013 and found a home with a great basement apartment that we have rented out while we lived in the top. In the beginning it was only to help pay the mortgage but now seeing the kind of cash flow it can generate has sparked my interest and intrigued me to invest in more properties. Right now we are renting out the top half of the home as well which is generating a positive cash flow. I also work in the property management industry for a management company so I have those skills to bring to my own projects. I want to find more rental properties and interested in other ways I can invest in real estate! I am excited to learn and motivated to push this as my full-time job working for myself. That is the dream anyway! Hoping to meet others with similar interests and possibly team up with those in the area to learn more or collaborate on projects!
