Hello BP folks, my name is Charlie Smith and I am currently a contract pilot, cropduster specifically, living in beautiful Pensacola, Florida. I want to start by offering a sincere thank you to the founders and contributors of this fabulous site. It's truly an impressive assimilation of information! I decided nearly a year ago that I was going to become a real estate investor. I've spent the past several months getting my basic REI education, devouring dozens of books, reading countless articles (most of BP), and watching hours of videos. I'm finally at the point where I feel it's necessary to simply jump in the deep end and go for it.
My ultimate goal is to build up a large portfolio multi-unit properties and vacation rentals. In the meantime I'm contemplating testing my skills at wholesaling and flipping. I'd love to link up with some likeminded folks in the NW panhandle area. I'm looking forward to attending my first REIA (PIG) meeting tomorrow evening. Hopefully I'll see some of y'all there.
