New investor in Durham, NC

I'm in the process of learning the ropes of Real Estate Investing. I'm still learning , and still looking to learn. I've explored material from other sources, as well as on Bigger Pockets. I would love to connect with people to help my growth in investing. I'd say I'm at that point where I'm still learning, but am looking to make that transition to learning by doing, while not going into it blindly. I'm looking to buy my first investment property from a wholesaler this year. I wanted to put myself out there to network with wholesalers, and other investors.
To give a little information about myself outside of the investing world... I work full time managing a health club and doing personal training. I coach boxing, I play tennis, enjoy staying active at the gym, running, and other activities.
