Investor from D.C. Metro Area
Hi everyone!
My name is David Alvarado and I live the D.C. metro area. I am an analyst and licensed agent in MD. I work full time for a commercial real estate firm and consult with institutional clients. I have a background in commercial construction and commercial real estate with a focus on investment analysis and valuation guidance. My position prior to my current position was centered around investment sales acting as an internal adviser to our national sales team.
I joined BiggerPockets after watching many podcasts on YouTube and deciding to come check out the forums to link with other local investors. My short term goals in real estate are to build passive income and wealth by purchasing single family residences in the DC metro area and possible in Baltimore City. Long term I would like to build out a property management team and acquire class B/C multifamily in the mid-Atlantic and southeast regions. I thought the BiggerPockets team would be a good way to get exposed to real-life local investors that I could network with and gather real time movement in my market.
