Hello all,

My name is Brian Vonarx and I am 40 years old. I am a plumber/pipefitter by trade. I have been on the sidelines reading about real estate investing for a while. I was born and raised here in Reno. My wife and I have been gone for the last 8 years working on the road around the west coast. We have recently moved back. After discovering BP, thanks to picking up the right book, I am ready to get serious about investing! Now that I have learned how to properly analyse a deal (at least to some degree) I see that this will not be easy with the current state of the market here in Reno.

Hello Brian,

I am not from Reno but go there often.  I live to the south in Bishop.  I too have looked for property in the Reno area and you are right it is not easy with the current state of the market......  Good luck investing and if you ever have any insight to share about the area please keep me posted.
