Eager to Learn Newbie From Silver Spring Maryland

Happy Sunday Everyone,

My name name is Teah Smalls and l'm from Silver Spring Maryland. I'm extremely new to BP and the wonderful world of Real Estate Investing. I have been taken advantage of all the fulfilling knowledge that fellow members have been sharing thru the varies forums, podcast and educational course. Currently I'm reading J Scott's "The Book on Flipping Houses", which has giving me some great insight. I would love to gain any advice or local resources (e.g educators/clubs/networking ) that will help me continue on me REI journey and one day close on my first fix/flip deal.

@Paul Timmins gives some great advice for getting on the site.

I would also strongly recommend connecting with @Russell Brazil and attending the meetup.  He is very active here on BP and really knows his stuff!

@J Scott's book is excellent!  When you're done, you should read @Brandon Turner's books as well.
