Hi Everyone, my name is Yuri Samayoa, new to big pockets and new to real estate from Massachusetts. I am intetested in finding deals, wholesale flips, assignment deals and I would love to meet up with investors around here, network and share deals and advice.
I look forward to hearing from anyone!!
Welcome, Yuri. there are many, many members here from our area. Be sure to attend the Black Diamond REIA. You are in a great location, as the Black Diamond alternates locations each month between Waltham and Worcester.
Congratulations on making this step. There are wonderful people here to meet and a plethora of advice to learn.
Hi Yuri, welcome to BP.
This is a great place to learn. Make sure to listen to all the BP podcasts, read the articles on the main blog and be active in these forums to learn a ton very quickly about any topic in real estate you want to know more about.
This is also a great place to meet people that can be assets to your business. Lots of great connections all over but we also have a very strong and active contingent here in MA on here so make sure to find them (Set up some keyword alerts to find out about local topics) and get connected.
Besides doing that on here make sure to get out to some of the many local investor events we have. As Tim said the Black Diamond events are excellent and you are in a good location to try to going to both the Worcester one this month and the Waltham one next month. Other than that probably the Boston REIA in Dedham is the other one that would be pretty easy for you. Many other options around Boston and all up from the Cape to NH.
Thanks so much Shaun Reilly!!
