Hi everyone, I'm Scott. I just moved here from Australia back in September to be with my wife, Ann. I waited 6 months before I could begin work (visas...) but am now working full time. My wife and I are looking to have kids in the future and I'd like to be able to give us both the financial freedom to raise them and be there for all their achievements in life. I've always known there's money to be made in real estate however I've never had the cash flow or know how to begin. I went to the Thann Merrill event they had here the other week out of curiosity more than anything then went home and did some research. During some Google searches on the subject I found biggerpockets. I'm reading a lot, caught the podcast this week in my last hour of work and am excited as to the prospects of the venture. It'd be nice to have a mentor but I'm sure I'll find that down the road. I really just want to make myself known here so Hello once again and I look forward to the future. Cheers Scott

I too, found BP through researching Than Merrill. But once I found this place, Than became a distant memory.

Be sure to search "Meet up" for the local REX (Real Estate Exchange) meeting times. It's a good way to get your feet wet in the local community. And listen and learn all you can from this awesome resource. This S*** is real.
