Hi friends!

I'm a newbie from Chicago looking to start out in real estate investing.

I'm a lawyer by trade, but I think it would be wise to branch out into real estate investing to diversify my retirement portfolio and to have a bit of extra income each month. My initial goal is to purchase multi-family unit buildings. I'm also wondering about the utility in getting my brokers license.

I have a husband who is graduating from medical school soon and we have two young children.

I've read the intro guide and have been listening to podcasts. I've also read a few books on the topic. (Please do suggest more! I love learning!)

Are there any people out there like me with similar goals? If so, please connect with me.
