Newbie in Wichita, KS
Good morning! I found this fabulous website last week while looking for information on getting into REI. I've been doing lots of reading here and have to admit, it's a bit overwhelming. My husband and I have also listen to some podcasts. Thought I would go ahead and jump in and introduce, at least, myself.
My husband and I have lived in Wichita, KS for going on 3 years now. Originally from SoCal. Just a bit of background: my husband has been a residential construction superintendent on new home builds/renovations for over 10 years. I have worked in construction offices and also have experience doing CAD drawings of floor plans and such. We are finding this site a great resource for all those things we don't know.
We have yet to come up with a business plan so I think that is the next step for us; to really sit down and figure out which direction we want our REI business to go. Looking forward to learning and seeing where this journey takes us.
