Hello everyone! My name is Alice Johnson. I live in Huntington Beach, CA. Married with three kids. My husband is a Air Traffic Controller and I am a nurse. My goal is to enter the world of RE investing. We own a rental condo in downtown Chicago and we recently purchase a single family home in Lakewood. I am working on obtaining my real estate license right now. I have been listening on podcast and other RE investing shows/blogs etc.. I have attended one of the meet-up groups meetings here in OC and had a great time meeting and hanging out with other investors, flippers, and fellow newbies in real estate as well as with the speaker of that meeting. I would love to do more and learn more and meet more people and hopefully start partnering with other RE investors very soon.
I also want to add, one of my nursing gig is to visit patients in their houses all over OC and LA (if I feel like driving) and whenever I drive around neighborhood areas, I make sure I wear my RE investor hat and I see a lot of properties that could potentially be a flip. There are so many houses of these kind around OC. I think I could be a scout : )

Welcome to BP @Alice Johnson. Great resources on the site here, as well as other sites and podcasts too. Be sure to learn as much as you can, but don't let that hold you back from "analysis paralysis".
Coastal California is pricey and not attractive for prudent cash-flow buy-and-hold investing. I'm sure you know that.
