Hi everyone, I am a 19 year old that lives in Tallahassee Florida (home to FSU and FAMU). I have been on edge about stepping foot into the real estate realm for the last year. Over the last month I have invested a great deal of time into the language of real estate. Staying up until 3, 4:00 in the morning just reading and watching people talk over various subjects. One of the motivating factors that pushed me over the edge is that I don’t like someone having control over my financial freedom. I like the fact that real estate can allow you to go about your goals in many different ways. I guess that’s life for you. Anyways simply introducing myself to you all at BiggerPockets in hopes of extending a helping hand in some way, shape, or form. My short term goal is to flip between 2-4 houses to help build up the cash to cover the cost of rehab for the triplexes I want to purchase by age 24. Also if there is anyone in the Tallahassee area that is in seasoned real estate or if you are new to real estate like me and you just want to get together and brain storm a bit then feel free to contact me.

@Manwell Watts Don't feel that way at all. I am happy to answer your questions. I would definitely find your closest REIA's and go to every meeting they have. Go out of your way to introduce yourself to folks and find out what they do. Bring business cards and make notes on the ones you receive so you can remember what you talked about with that person. Make sure to send follow up emails the next day and start creating those relationships! Keep things personalized so people know you're for real.
My focus in investing is wholesaling large multifamily apartment complexes. It's actually a lot of fun!
