Future investor from Texas
Hello,
My name is Christopher Reny and I'm from Houston, Tx. I am currently a plumber looking to make my first investment in real estate! At the moment I am doing research and reading books to increase my knowledge in the industry. I joined the BiggerPockets community in hopes of gathering information, building relationships, and as a way to find answers to the questions I have. On a side note I have no interest in "get rich quick" schemes so I ask respectively to refrain from sharing this information! Thank you!

Welcome to BP, I think it would benefit you tremendously to start attending local REI meetup groups and other meeting/networking events. Do you have a plan of what you want to do? Fix and flip or fix and hold? I am in Houston so if you want someone to attend meetups with or have any questions about the local market, feel free to PM me.
