Contractor turning Investor from Maryland

My father has been an independent contractor for over 25 years. He has the knowledge and skills to tackle any construction or renovation project. I am currently in the process of changing careers to join him and help grow our family business. I am a beginner in the big game of real estate but hoping to learn a lot from everyone here.

I would like to start my real estate investment career by buying properties in need of renovation, invest some time and money to get them where they need to be, then sell! I'm planing on using the profit from flips for down payments on buy and hold rentals. My father doesn't have faith that much money can be made in today's market but I plan on proving him wrong and showing him that together we can make this work!

In the meantime, if you need a quote on a construction or renovation project just reach out and I'd be more than happy to help.

Hi Bart - I wish you all the best with your investment career. I'm looking to get an estimate for some work in Harford County. Let me know if you may be interested.
