Hi everyone.

I just joined this website today, mostly for knowledge and advice on real estate investing.  I have a great 9-to-5 job, but I would like to diversify my income stream by becoming a landlord.  So far I have only bought my primary residence.  My goal is to obtain a single-family rental property sometime in the next 6 months, and if everything goes well, continue to do that (buy more rental properties) at regular intervals.  (I guess I would be more of a buy-and-hold type of investor).  At this point I'm just trying to learn as much as I can before going through with it.
