New young investor from Missouri

I'm 18 years old, and want to learn all I can, and get started investing. I live in a small town in Missouri. I would like to be able to find a mentor (who wouldn't?) the only struggle is I'm not sure my worth. I know how people who are in the position to teach others are looking for someone of value, and I'm sure I have plenty, I just need guidance to find that. I am very passionate about investing and am very willing to learn.
