Hello all! My name is Blake Jessee and I'm ecstatic to have finally joined Bigger Pockets forums! I have listened to Brandon and Josh's podcast for quite sometime, but never really got around to creating an account until recently. A little about me: I am 21 years old, and in May of 2017 I will be graduating from Texas A&M University with a degree in Agricultural Economics with a focus on Finance and Real Estate. I am originally from Houston, Texas and would thoroughly enjoy an opportunity to begin work there as an Agent. My ultimate goal is to build an extensive portfolio of buy and hold single-family and eventually multi-family properties. I am also interested in the flipping market as well! Reasons for Joining BP: 1. I would love to acquire a willing and experienced mentor in my area to show me the ropes of the industry as well as influence me regarding my decision making in the industry. 2. Offer my input when fellow investors or agents have questions or are thrown into unfamiliar situations. Therefore, acquiring more colleagues as we discuss our issues and successes. 3. Get a jump start on the most exciting career to enjoy decades of success down the road!

Good to hear you will be graduating soon. Congrats! I'm investing in the Houston market and am happy to share a cup of coffee with you. I've done the buy-and-hold thing and it has paid off great. Wholesaling is more work but a faster paycheck and I really enjoy the problem-solving. Rehabs are great; more risk but worthwhile if you have all your angles covered. Hit me up!
