Hey BP,

My name is Chad Barron and I am 23 years old and completely new to real estate investing.  I currently am working an engineering job in the area and am very interested in real estate.    I am here to learn everything I can about buy and hold investments and I am very excited to start.  With that said, are there any locals in the area that can point me in the direction of local real estate meetings?

Welcome to BP. The best thing you can do is to attend the local REI clubs. There four solid meetings each month. All of them offer different level of experience, networking and finding the right partners. See below the names. All have either a facebook or meetup pafge:
