I just started listening to the bigger pockets podcast a few weeks ago and decided to check out the site.  I'm currently a commercial lender for a bank in San Antonio.  I plan to stay in this role, but would like to begin buying investment property on the side.  I look forward to making contacts and whatever advice you have for the new guys.

Howdy Matt! Welcome to Biggerpockets! :) A piece of advice I could give is to always be patient with investments. A great deal can take time to come around, even in a hot market like San Antonio. Always keep your mind open to education and accept advice from people that are actually doing things out there. I'm still a newbie but I'm learning day by day and would be more than happy to help you with the knowledge I have learned.
