Hi everyone! My name is Andrew Coleman, I grew up in the north Georgia area and have just moved back to Atlanta after going to school at Middle Tennessee State University outside Nashville and living for a few years in Tennessee and Hawaii. I'm new to BiggerPockets and new to investing altogether! This seems like a great resource for connecting with people in the area and learning the ropes of the business. I'm excited to get started and get to know the BiggerPockets community. Any advice is welcomed and appreciated, nice to meet you all!

@Andrew Coleman  I live in Peachtree Corners and have done flips in Decatur, East Atlanta, Alpharetta, even Gainesville.  I've found even when they are "far" away Atlanta suburbs are still easy enough to get to for me to do deals anywhere in the metro where the numbers work.  You have your sights on some good areas.  OTP north is definitely harder to find deals but there are some.  Get on a bunch of wholesalers buyer's lists so you can see a wide variety of deals and get a better feel for prices in the process.  Be sure to do your own analysis whenever you see a deal; don't just rely on what someone else says it is.   Good luck!
