Hello friends and neighbors.

My name is Mike Meier. This community here has been brought to my attention and I would like to get to know you guys a little bit better.

I have a small but reliable income and a good starting capital to invest in a single family or small multifamily home near the university (I'm a graduate student myself and going to stay for a while).

If anybody has experience in this area (or a similar area) please get back to me. It may be worth noting that I am not a US citizen. This means that I have a lot to learn about how managing property works here. I am particularly unfamiliar with local regulations, so this would be a good place to start.
