In May 2916 I bought a condo in Tuscaloosa, Alabama which was my first rental property.  I have been meaning to do it for years but just wasn't sure and I just kind of jumped into it because my numbers worked.  Cash flow positive from Day 1 and when I get that check each month that exceeds my expenses, I wonder why I didn't do it earlier.  I am now learning, researching for that next property either in Tuscaloosa, Atlanta or Zanesville, OH.  I have to say the Bigger Pockets podcasts have been very helpful as have so many of forums in building my understanding.  I am ready for that next purchase and now in pursuit of it.  Can't wait to tell my story, once I create one!!

The best part so far is you took the step to make a purchase. Many investors never get out of the research phase.
