This seems like a really awesome site.  I was researching what's involved in purchasing a home here in Plano Texas for the first time, specifically a duplex, and came across one of Brandon's blog posts that really spoke to me.  I don't make much or have much to spend, but I'm optimistic and excited to learn.  I am sure I've come to the right place. Looking forward to speaking with y'all here on the forums.

Welcome.  How much liquid capital are you currently working with to invest? You may have enough to leverage your money with hard money financing if you are looking to start buying properties.
