Hello BP!

My wife and I are currently living on the windward side of Oahu. We are looking to use our VA home loan to acquire a property that will have positive cash flow once we move out of it and back to the mainland (not easy to do here with a low or no down payment). We have a year or two before we move back to the mainland, so we may continue renting if we are unable to find a deal in our desired location. In the meantime I will be taking classes to get my real estate salesperson's license in hopes of representing other investors and building capital while I gain deeper knowledge and understanding of the business (thanks J Scott for opening my eyes to that possibility in The Book on Flipping Houses). I am interested in rehabbing and selling but my main goal is buy and hold investment properties.
