Hi every one! I'm the novice investor who just bought the first property and now I'm freak out because I don't know where to begin with. The only thing that I know for sure that we will lease out that property. However we're under the battle of should we hire a property manager or should we Lear to manage it ourselves as we go. Any advice here would be greatly appreciated!

@Natalie Nguyen A lot of people say that managing a single property is no big deal and they don't need a property manager.

The problem with that is there are so many ways you can get into trouble if you don't know the law or best practices regarding rental properties.

I know that everyone on BP loves to hate property managers. But the money you spend on a property manager pales in comparison to the money you will lose if you don't do it right.
