Hello from Moscow, Idaho!
Hello BP nation!
My name is Peter Garaway. For the past few months I've started exploring the world of real estate investing. I work full-time in the tech world. I'm a recent (1.5 years) transplant to Moscow, Idaho from the Bay Area of California.
I purchased my home in Moscow and just yesterday sold my property I had owned in California. My initial plan was to hold on to it and keep it as a rental property. That worked pretty well for the past 1.5 years, but for many reasons I decided to sell. I got out with a nice profit and I'm now looking into opportunities to invest in less expensive areas. Whether it be local in Idaho/Washington or someone else in the country.
I haven't settled on a property type yet. Very interested in Turnkey to get started but also looking into single family and small multifamily. I understand the importance of building a team and hoping to make good relationships here. Reading and listening to as much as I can.
