Here to learn and get started in the next six months

Hello all, I've been lurking here for a few months. I am looking to get started with buy and hold, perhaps some BRRRR in the next six months. I really appreciate the knowledge here on these forums. Right now I'm working through several different books, skimming the forums, and listening to podcasts trying to expand my knowledge. I've committed myself to making the plunge of my first purchase by June. I am in Anderson, South Carolina and looking to invest in the Anderson-Greenville-Spartanburg area and the Columbia area. My long-term goal is to gradually build enough rental income to leave my daytime job in the next 10 years.
