Hi all, I am a new(ish) member to BP from Anchorage, Alaska getting the ball rolling on my real estate investment business. I am 25 and my educational and professional background is in Marketing. My business entity has been set up for a few months now (LLC) and I'd say that I have been trying to find the line between aggressively looking for opportunities to get my feet wet and still taking precaution to avoid the many potential pitfalls that are associated not only with real estate efforts but really, any entrepreneurial endeavor. Up to this point, my direct real estate experience has pretty much been limited to the substantial amount of homework that I've done regarding the real estate investment realm through numerous real estate books, BiggerPockets podcasts, and forums.......So not very much application but definitely looking to change that! My immediate short term goal is to become a "house hacker" by purchasing a multi family property: duplex, triplex, or a fourplex. I look forward to being involved in the BP Community.
