Hello all, I am looking to buy property in the upstate NY area.  It has been suggested that I look at Niagara Falls area for investment.  I am just curious to see what my fellow BP members have to say and share.

No disrespect to anyone who lives in Niagara Falls New York but I was presented with a few rental properties and I turned them down immediately. There are definitely pockets but when you see so many vacant houses and commercial properties that causes red flags. This was in 2015. Don't think much changed since then.
